Picture this if you will....

Hints in ORAS regarding the construction of the Battle Frontier, plus a lack of new mega evolutions and an overall unfinished feeling.

Now, what if the game isn't actually unfinished. What if Gamefreak decides to do something completely different for once.

What if we get an entirely separate Battle Frontier standalone game.

I'm talking as in the entire game takes place on a large region/island that, in fact, IS the Battle Frontier. It's coded to work with poke bank and targeted towards veteran players. Instead of Gyms, we have battle facilities. The only way to progress is to actually beat them, and then for post game, beat them again with added difficulty. So far, Gen VI has been about breaking expectations and doing things in a way that is both pleasing to old and new fans of the series. I can see Nintendo doing this as the natural next step in the series's evolution.

And perhaps, just maybe, some of the rewards we can earn with our BP are new mega stones.
