Let's talk about important events that will happen sooner. Since it's heavily implied that pic related is Mr.Shiftry, what role do you think he will play in XY? Koga still wears the blue outfit, so he isn't an E4. Why is he in Kalos? This means that Kanto's gym leaders and E4 haven't changed since OG. Do you think other characters might return? With the exception of ORAS, Gen VI has a lot of Gen I panderinf, so OG characters returning doesn't seem too far-fetched. So far, he and Steven are the only returning characters beside the usual Ash and TR. Giovanni and Gary returning are also likely because the former has an updated design for XY (black suit) and the latter was referenced in-game.
Hopefully Bruno returns as well. Let's assume that he will return in order to promote Pokken and Machamp will get a Mega for the next game. It'd be a great reason for him to battle Ash. Plus we'd have a real Hawlucha vs Machoke match!
