I keep getting dissappointed by the lack of features that were expected, but then I see gameplay and I get hyped up again. I guess it's just the appeal of going through a revamped Hoenn (and playing a sort-of new Pokemon playthrough instead of Y for the 10th time)

Though I'm fearing the game will have the 'dance step' thing BW had where you could just do the exact same thing to a trainer when rematching them and they would still use the exact same moves. I breezed through the elite 4 in White so many times because I just used Victini and knew what moves they would use because I used the same ones every time and they followed.

The Nav is honestly my current favorite part. My biggest complaint about Ruby and Sapphire was that the PokeNav was shit compared to the PokeGear. And now we have a fucking TV.

Still would really like to know the word on Match Call, but we've only ever had a radio in Johto. The portable TV is a big fucking deal for me. We only had news bulletins via holograph in Kalos. This shit is amazing.

Also happy about us actually getting a nighttime.

also keep in mind guys, GF always pulls some red herring shit in their games. i wouldn't try to get my hopes up about there being a timelocked event. it doesn't make sense.

IIRC, Match Call is gone. Now when you're in a Route/Area, it'll display an icon if there's trainers to rebattle.
