It's stats are pretty good and so is it's typing. You are making stuff up. It gets roost and is bulky also.

Also, tiers are for noobs. You'll never get good if you think in terms of tiers.

It's a pretty fantastic typing, with good defensive synergy, and it checks all of the flying priority bullshit and fighting moves, while being immune to ground, which is pretty much the top three attacks in OU if I'm not mistaken.

It's stats are fine as well

But its stats aren't shitty at all, also it has roost that keeps it alive for a long time. It only has 2 weaknesses that most Pokemon in the tier don't usually have STAB for, and with its passable defenses and roost it can nullify those weaknesses. So the typing is more of a 7-8/10 for OU.

It's bulkier than Rotom-W, the darling of OU, both specially and physically, has Defog and reliable recovery in Roost, good speed and good offensive stats.
Its typing isn't as good as Rotom-Ws, nor is its movepool. That's it.

It wasn't OU in gen V? I thought it would have thrived spamming 100% accurate Thunder in the great Weather Wars. Guess Thundurus was too good at that, so Zapdos now relies on Defog.
