so would it be even remotely viable to run physical mega gardevoir, or even just shadow sneak?
Return with pixel boost/ shadow sneak/ willow and filler?

No. smogon bird gets an item and dual 120 bp stabs.

Base 85 atk is shit and base 81 atk is even more shit

The difference is the latter is fast as fuck, has access to swords dance, can use an item and has a base 120 stab priority move

It actually does more than I expected. Can't run Smogon's damage calc at the moment because it's down so I had to improvise. I tested Adamant M-Gardevoir Return vs Adamant CB Talonflame Brave Bird against Mega Slowbro.

Talonflame did 28-34%, M-Gardevoir did 21-25%
