I dunno about you guys but I'm about to become a denialfag who believes in the dumb DLC theory. This shit does not add up. I highly doubt paid DLC will be a thing in this franchise at least for many years, but free DLC via promotions like eventmons isn't out of the question

Not justifying GF's actions, but if there was ever a point to start remaking 3rd games this would be the one considering how different it is to RS.

Doubt paid Dlc all you like, but paid Dlc has already happened. At the start of this year Nintendo released a program called Pokemon bank which was an add on to Pokemon xy that gave you a celebii and the ability to store more Pokemon and transfer them from older games. Before that there was a Dlc called Pokemon radar that you could use to get the genie Pokemon in bird like formes.

Paid Dlc has been part of the Pokemon games for the past 2 generations.

Who knows? Maybe Game Freak saw that Mega Lati@s, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, PokéBall Vivillon and Floette-AZ were leaked from XY's code and wanted to avoid that happening again. I mean, they sort of failed what with the demo leaking very single trainer and their Pokémon, including the E4 rebattles, but we could still end up with more "episodes" as patches.

Honestly, I am hopeful. Also because they copy pasted the XY Maison which actually alludes to a later Battle Frontier even more (of course when it was revealed, everyone shat their pants thinking the dream was dead)

Reason being that RS at least had a battle Tower. Now, why would they copy paste the XY Maison for no good reason if they could have included the RS Tower instead? And the possible answer to that might be that they are holding off on any kind of Tower until the Frontier is revealed.

It's like the Royal Unova being in the museum and it saying that it's currently under construction. It's establishing timeline in that the Battle Frontier is not complete yet, and that it's being constructed. It won't be in this game. It will be in Delta Emerald since because jewish japanese.

paid dlc have been a thing for years now
except you dont download them
you go to the store and buy the whole fucking game again in order to complete the pokedex
or get ome different postgame and story
