Please help.

I've been patiently awaiting the new release, counting down the days. My partner is into pokes like me, and offered to preorder the new one for me for a Christmas present. What a nice gesture. I found out last night that he doesn't plan on giving it to me before Christmas. His reason being that he doesn't want me playing it without him, because he has lots of work to do for a project.

Wut do? I think that's a pretty selfish reason. I wouldn't have let him buy it for me if I knew I wouldn't get it until Christmas.
