I have a theory, but it's a bit crazy. How about next year we will get a pair of games? But no, they're not gonna be a sequel to XY, neither Z. I'm going to bet it's going to be a brand new region (Strange Souvenir) that is placed sometime between ORAS and XY (Battle Frontier) and ties any loose knots in this gen, if there is any. Oh, and it'll host the Battle Frontier.
What could *also* happen is that it's going to be a sequel for ORAS, happening in Hoenn but with a small postgame region (a la Sevii Islands) with the Battle Frontier included.
Just crazy conclusions, though.
