This makes sense, since Lucy would have to have been picked BEFORE the Pike's construction. Otherwise they wouldn't have known to build it in the shape of a Seviper.

$15 would mean that in Nintendo terms it would cost £60 for the UK if you compare it to the prices they charged the UK and Europe to the American and Japanese prices for Bank (annoying when it is the exact same service). As games in the UK retail for around £30-£40 then it is unlikely that pokemon DLC would cost so much. If BF is DLC then it's likely the US will get it for $5 and the UK for £15.

We're not expecting paid DLC since Masuda is against it. But Pokémon has had gratis on-disk DLC since Red and Green in 1996.

He's not against it at all. The quote everyone is refering to was him saying he likes people to have a complete game on release but he also has said more recently he likes things to be innovative and surprising to the player. Besides, there has already been paid DLC like pokemon bank and pokemon radar.

Any decision on paid DLC would not be Masuda's decision to make though as he the director of the A team that makes the first game of the gen, the remakes or B team are free to do whatever they think works within reason, which is why they could innovate by having pokemon following you or new gym leaders etc and various other great ideas that don't make it to the main game.

As Nintendo is starting to push DLC to add to its revenue the pressure is on all Nintendo and nintendo affiliated companies to add DLC and it is likely that GF would want to provide value for money like they did before with radar.

The new Megas aren't in XY because they want to force you to buy ORAS to get everything. It has literally nothing to do with laziness or incompetence. The Pokemon buisness model of "buy all the versions to get everything" has worked for 20 years now, you actually expect different?
