There was plenty of things that could burn it before it had a chance to attack, and some stuff could balk a unstabed sucker punch and OHKO back, I still don't really understand why it was banned.

Besides, everything in competitive pokemon is a "50/50". If Charizard X has roost Heatran wins, if it has EQ Heatran loses, shit like that.

One of the consistent rules of Smogon is that if a pokemon is a 2 for 1 takedown, it's going to Ubers.
Look at Mega Gengar. Almost guaranteed a kill because anything you send in gets eaten up short of Sucker Punching it.

Megawile is the same way. Sure it can be taken out, but doing it with ONE pokemon is pretty tough.
