ahh they really should do a 20th anniversary remake for these games and have them include this with these ruby&sapphire quest so the national pokedex and trading to those games would be unlocked.

I can totally see them doing a 3DS download of the original game with the original 2d graphics, but running gen VI engine in the background with gen I rules, types, move sets, no equippable items, with minor bug fixes and features (like wifi or improved PC storage)

It only works again if they do the remake for Wii U. The first 1 to 1 recreation of the Pokemon experience done on console, no gimmick to separate it from the mainline titles like Shadow mons, just straight up 3D Pokemon. It'd be fucking beautiful to see Kanto like that.

There isn't enough time for GF to make X2Y2 and RB re-remakes before the franchise's 20th anniversary.
