Kanto was fleshed out far more in the remakes.

ORAS are objectively the worst remakes in the series. Even fr/lg was better.

Kanto in GSC is a huge, empty wasteland and a downgrade from RBY.

all HGSS did was make it partially closer to its former glory.

You're forgetting the shit that's making me take an hour on each route, which is the sneak on feature, that is one useful piece of mechanic.

Confirmed for talking shit. Hg/ss kanto was comparable to johto. There were enough npcs, trainers and facilities to take part in.

Battle Frontier isn't everything. At least ORAS offers new content in the form of Megas that you can't get in other games which I can use online.
