On the Japanese countdown event last night on niconico people asked him questions and he basically dodged it. You could see the comments on the screen behind him were all about Battle Frontier and Mega Flygon, actual questions he answered were basically nothing. They said some questions he can't answer.

The original post insinuated the Frontier music was purely for the official competitions.

When someone said no, they were responded to by a different point, that there is no individual music for each facility, probably because they thought the person they were responding to was taking it as a given that Frontier music at all means the BF is in the game.

The actual point is that there are separate tracks located elsewhere from the rest for when the VGC play, that are accessed when at those official competitions. That was what the original argument was about.

The Battle Frontier music is not for VGC. But it also does not mean BF is in the game.

What if we bombard the official pokemon twitter account asking why basic/expected shit isn't in the game?

They half assed it and what could have been a game with a ridiculous levels of content instead has very little compared to the last remake, HGSS. GF must have at least known that people were expecting the Frontier, yet deliberately chose not to put it in. Same for Gym Leader rematches. How difficult would it have been to put them in?

They know that they don't need this shit to sell, but if people clearly complain on twitter they'd be forced to at least respond. And in the modern world of "games journalism," that shit would escalate and force them to get their act together. Maybe even get a shitty hashtag going.

The final ROM has been datamined and nothing correlating to the BF other than text about how they're building it and one music track has been found. It's not in the game as of now, period.

Doesn't rule out a patch/DLC though. And although they've spoken out against it in the past, Nintendo in general is getting their shit together and embracing the idea of it on a large scale, so it's a definite possibility.

It doesn't exist in the form you're describing because each generation of games shares a base engine and a large amount of code/sprites/etc. Ergo, there are going to be some developers credited across the board for each gen.

That said though, they're on record saying that X/Y went into dev immediately following B/W and that it took 2 years to develop. BW2 had to have been developed by at least a slightly different team, and it has a different set of directors and producers than B/W, so there you go.
