Yeah, it's... Really confusing. I know people are saying the ORAS attackers are just shitposters, but I disagree.

ORAS is the culmination of this trend in Pokémon over the last few years where each game feels unfinished or missing content that seems obvious. I attribute this to the annualization of the franchise; they're too busy working on next year's project to finish this year's.

Sadly, this is the exact same bullshit that killed off quality in series like Call of Duty or - more recently - Assassin's Creed. What's worse is that it doesn't look like there's any end in sight for it in Pokémon, because ORAS are already guaranteed mega-hits.
