Other than features carried over from XY, ORAS has rematches for the Elite 4, a more fleshed out legendary hunt with some odd time based mechanics that can be sped up by Streetpass, and contests + secret bases if you want to count minigames.

Overall, nothing on the scale of the Battle Frontier.

Battle Frontier was pretty much a challenge to get a second set of gym badges, but with a competitive twist. It actually made for good post game and gave a very solid new set of optional goals to do after the game.
