I like letting "fate" decide on the Pokemon I end up using and liking. You discover more about a usable Pokemon that way. I always feel cheap when I use a strong Pokemom that was just given to me with zero effort. I mean I could use it to breed but that's about it. If that means I'll never git gud, then so be it.

I'm not. It would make my team redundant. I bred myself a Treecko and fully EV trained it in super training and left it at level 5 to use.
Shiny, Pentaperfect, Timid, Leaf Storm
Was hard enough keeping that low enough level to control until I reached the 4th gym.
