How uncomfortable is this thing? I'm thinking about getting one for ORAS to tide me over until the N3DS XL is released.

I've been using one for well over a year and would say it's by far one of the comfiest handhelds I've ever had the pleasure of owning. 3DS/XL are balls by comparison.

It is way comfier than the 3DS XL because the buttons are up higher and the balance is better.
When holding a 3DS XL, the top screen is in the "air" (if you get what i mean) and you have to use more power while holding it.

IMO it is perfect for GBA nostalgics, and people (like me) with tiny, TIIIIINNNYYY hands.

The 2DS is by far my all-time favorite handheld for that reason.
Since getting one, I've logged 1,600 hours in Animal Crossing & 400 in Pokemon Y, and I regret nothing.

I like it way more than either 3DS ergonomic and build wise.

I bought one with OR and the only reason I haven't done a system transfer yet is I can't put the game down.

I got it with Pokemon X preloaded on it and don't regret it at all. I don't carry the thing around, so the lack of folding is moot.

I like the sturdy feel of it and the button placement. My old 3ds pissed me off because the power button was where I expected Select to be which is very inconvenient when you randomly get muscle memory from GB games.

it's comfy as fuck, especially with these trigger grips I got from GAMESTOP for $15, it improved my game on Smash Bros immensely
