Reminder that you can immediately EV train your freshly obtained Latios/Latias (give it Surf) and otherPokemon into fast special attackers by horde training in Route 117.

Oddish gives +1 SpA, Roselia gives +2 SpA, and Zigzagoon gives +1 Spe

Latias and Latios will get at least 3 IVs when it joins you, though reportedly it gets 4 perfect IVs now.
