Now that the Gen 3 remakes have been released, we can finally begin looking towards the future.

What do you guys expect to see in Gen VII?

Optional hard mode, option for the whole game to be double battles, online contests, better graphics, many Pokémon being unobtainable in the first set of games, exclusive moves you cna only get from Pokémon caught in the wild

So that each route isn't crowded with 20 species each. It's more atmospheric if you only have a limited selection of Pokémon carefully selected to match the environment. And it makes shitmons be more special because you need to go one or two generations back to find them, mon ami.

I'm a bicyclefag and breeder. Which is exactly why I want something like that because I miss the time when I could just go out, catch a Pokémon, and play the game with it instead of breeding a box full of its kind and then grinding it to level 50 in 15 minutes long after the adventure is over.

I think I'd stop playing if they released Black 3 and White 3.
I've always loved the franchise, but BW2 I found so boring.
Literally the only two main series games I haven't completed yet.

This has actually been starting since Gen 5. Things like Gothitelle not having any fingers or Conkeldurr's legs. I suspect it's to make them easier to model in 3D, actually.

Outside of gen 4 and some legendaries, Pokemon have never really been 'overdesigned'.

Broken mons, moves and abilities. Close to no post game. 99 legendary pokémon to catch. Gyms and E4 with 2 pokémon. More unbalanced megas.

A huge revision of all current pokémon (change stats). Change/remove some abilities. No megas. Masuda is fired. More than 1 region in a game. More post game (Battle Frontier plus more). Hard difficulty. Proper customization. Pokémon can follow you (it can be toggled off).

More lazy garbage removing all features from the previous games for no reason.

The best, most complete Pokemon game yet. Something that reaches at least the same milestones as past titles have and expand on them.

Games I felt they were walking towards the second outcome include HGSS and BW2. I do not feel that way with ORAS unfortunately, and XY was... well, it was a generation start, can't expect much from those.
I'll be keeping a close eye on the next game.

We can't even get a full remake of one region in 3DS because of not enough memory or time, I doubt it will happen. Maybe on the next nintendo handlhed, but it's soon, the 3DS will still be alive for some years.
