Okay, for the people who like this guy, how the hell are you supposed to use him? He's seriously the worst...
I was wondering when I'd get something other than Absorb, and when Mega Drain rolled around, I became even more concerned. I decided to peek ahead, and fuck, Treeko and his entire evolutionary line learns fuck all. After Mega Drain, a 40 power move, he doesn't learn a SINGLE special attack until level 67! For real? I get that he looks neato, and maybe post-game breeding and tutoring could make him usable, but for the main game I think I might just dump him in the box. Treeko fans, is there any saving grace here? Was he good before the physical/special split or something?
