Was looking for a Geodude in granite cave when I came across a shiny Aron.
This is literally the first shiny I've enccountered since crystal and I'm down on my last Pokeball.

How do I not fuck this up?

just get it as low as you can without killing it obviously, and don't get cocky. Use your best judgement, because I'm pretty sure Aron's catch rate ain't that bad

Do you have any pokemon that have status moves? perhaps a shroomish/breloom with effect spore so you can let Aron hit it and receive a effect eventually. If not, try get it in the red bar and pray.
