If you were already planning to buy ORAS I don't see any reason to transfer them back to XY.
And people would datamine XY and get all those new megas a lot before ORAS was announced, great plan.
You can transfer your team to ORAS from XY and play the meta from there, I don't see a problem if you have both games, why would you want to use the Megas in both games when you can play in any of them.

Why would they care about what you did with your free time? They didn't win anything with you playing hacks, that was you fault if you played multiple times through Hoen and don't want to do it again, it's not like they left RS ready for you to be hacked and played.
Emerald doesn't have the Dexnav, I'm pretty you will expend more time trying to capture perfect IV Pokémon than whay you did losing at the BF.
Only way to explain how ORAS have Megas when they were supposed to be a thing in XY, this is not a remake, it's an alternate universe Hoenn with Megas.
XY is the bridge between both universes, try searching the thread about that in the archive.
It's your fault for wanting something that is only good for obtain items that are easier to get in the Maison anyway.
Catching legendaries by your own hands is always hype, if you think their value is less because you obtained them easily for GTS when that other person had to capture it himself is your fault.
