Electric Rock as in evolving Magneton and Nosepass? Yeah, leveling up there will evolve them, even if you're at the locked entrance and use a Rare Candy, it'll still work.

On Dexnav, I have trouble understanding something about it. I press the search button, and 99% of the time, I get "the pokemon couldn't be found". This makes it so that just running around until it pops up is easier, so long as it's the grass. Am I missing something? Or is that more for cave pokemon?

If they get any exp, they get full EV's. So exp share will give any and all hoard EV's to anything in your party.

You want to put the brace on the mon you are training. When it gets EVs through exp share, the pokerus/training item modifiers are then applied for that pokemon.

The ! means that whatever it is next to isn't a common occurrence

for example a pokemon that you find using the dexnav that's like 10 levels higher than normal will have a ! next to its level because it's so much rarer

potential is how many stats have max iv's, 3 stars potential means 100% you have 3 stats that are max iv's, it can have more it's all up to luck

First of all, this IS a question thread.
Second, I don't see where you infer that from. I have bred 8 boxes of competitive pokemon (not 8 boxes total, 8 boxes of "results") and all the HP specific mons
I bred were Ice which is easy to manipulate. You get 2 31/0/x/31/31/31 parents (for most breeders it is easy since one parent should be a Ditto) and wait for an even defense roll. Fire is harder since you have to juggle 3IVs to be 30 and flying between Kiloude and Anistar every 5 minutes is tedious

Reread the previous question as "do I breed for HP Fire or for Modest Nature first?"

Secret bases. Can only battle them once per day, but a 6 level 100 Blissey with Healing Wish base levels up six level 1 mons to level 50 instantly. One normal level 100 base should be enough for two mons.

Incredibly easy in this compared to RSE. As long as you're not against Lisia you can win any contest with scarf+max stats. There also doesn't seem to be a cap on pokeblocks you can feed a pokemon.

Only the heaps of ash seem to count.

The Blue, Yellow, and Red flutes are definitely worth it, seeing as how their reusable ways to get rid of sleep, confusion, and infatuation, the later of which can normally only be cured by switching. The Black one reduces encounters and the White one ups them, but I don't know how well they work.

Something I have noticed: pokemon inside rocks (like geodude and graveler) don't count in the DexNav if the pokemon isn't also found in the area. For example, in the underwater cave where Groudon is, I got a gold crown at zubat/golbat, but I broke a rock and battled a Graveler that I don't have in my Dex, yet.

I caught him last night. it took 3 tries (he struggled himself to death) and around 30 pokeballs each try. Watch out for alpha pulse as it will knock down even a level 65 water type to half of its health. He also has paralyse and freezing moves and recovering from them will drain your health. The worst move overall is its healing move. So stock a high PP move like hold back or false swipe to knock it back down to 1hp every third turn or so.

I believe some of them are held items. I want to say they were just items on the ground in RSE. I haven't come across one yet in ASOR

Go around the route until you can get down to the water from some stairs near the end (it's basically directly south of the Fortree entrance).

Just keep surfing south until you can't go any further and it should be on the right on a small outcropping you can land on.

Found a green shard, on land, on Route 126. Dove under water to the east of Sootopolis, went up and left, came out of the water, went up, to the right, and went back down, and then went back to the top left and came up. It is in a pokeball on the beach. (Map says Route 126)
