Does anybody else suffer from poke-self-loathing?

I spend way too much time mentally occupied with pokemon. On serebii, hyping, /vp/ lurking, bike simulating, battling on showdown, soft-resetting for IV's... it all feels like such a waste of time.

I enjoy them to the point of addiction, but I have no respect for myself. I don't mind revealing my power level in public and I don't care what people think of me, but I just wish i had more productive hobbies.

I'm putting my games in a box in my attic, including ORAS (I'm only in mauville), and all other video games, hopefully for a long time. I'd also like to stay off /vp/ and retire as a longterm /tr/ainer.

Does anyone else feel the same? Pic related : my bro that I'll miss the most. He finally got a mega and I'll never use him if I quit now.
