Flygon used to be one of my favorites. I was a bona-fide flygonfag. Used one ingame in Gen 3, used it competitively in Gen 4, loved the design, ect.
But I can't do it anymore. I was genuinely excited for Mega Flygon. I wanted to be able to use it in OU. I was so sure that it was going to get a Mega, it seemed like such an obvious choice. It's popular. It's underpowered, but interesting and unique. The waiting only increased my hype.
Now, I'm not a flygon fan anymore. Dwelling on it is saddening for me, and I'd rather enjoy all of the awesome Megas we DID get. I've given up on Mega Flygon ever happening. I held out when others were worrying, now I'm just shocked and confused.
