I won't disagree Pokemon is not challenging, but even the most experienced player will come up a trainer in the game every now and then that surprises them, and maybe wipes your team with something you weren't expecting.

Having a 'perfectly' bred IV team takes even that away.

For what purpose. I did techncally max out my Marshtomp's evs, but that was only to get a Dawn stone for Gallade, and they're random spreads.

I have a team of 9 Penta/Hexaperfect fully EVd mons. I turned off Exp. Share and obviously am playing Set. My mons are a few levels under Gym leaders and you know what? It's pretty fun. First time I do this on a first run of a game, but since I've played through Hoenn about 10 times already and used almost every Pokemon in RSE I figured I'd try something different.

Also, I transferred a Joltik over to level up during the playthrough and I had no idea that at the end the slideshow incooprorates pokemon that you used throughout the game. Joltik is so fucking cute in them.
