Pokemon Final Twilight Edition
Essentially Gen 4 remakes + sequel to DPPT
Team Galactic has traveled to the Orre region years after Cipher’s downfall and discovered the method for turning Pokemon into Shadow Pokemon. Cyrus has escaped the Distortion World with the help of his captured Giratina. (This timeline assumes the player in Platinum did not catch Giratina but rather fainted it) Cyrus turns Giratina into his ultimate shadow pokemon
With his newfound power, bits and pieces of Cipher’s lost members merge into Team Galactic creating an entirely new team, Team Cosmos. Their goal is similar to before, to take over the universe. The unmatched power of Shadow Giratina has thrown all of Orre into chaos, cities being destroyed and armies of Shadow Pokemon under Cyrus’ command.
Main protagonist is related to Gonzap, and finds out his/her grandfather’s legacy in the ruins of Team Snagem’s base where the first snag machine was left after Wes abandoned it there. The first Pokemon you get are Eevee and one of the elemental monkeys (you get the monkey similar to the Johto starter in Pokemon Colosseum, only much earlier)
At the end you go through a gauntlet of Team Cosmos’ admins (Jupiter, Mars, Ardos, Ein) and then face off against Cyrus just after he finishes Shadow Arceus. Arceus must be snagged before you can continue the story.
