They would first have to give us 7th Gen, have it be the biggest fucking region ever with over 200 Pokemon with 30 of them being evolutions/megas, 12 gym leaders and a Pokemon Tournament in place of the Pokemon League
Once you beat that, you get invited to another region where an extra 100 all new Pokemon are waiting for you with 8 more gym leaders that are strategy specific instead of team specific. Then you'll face the Elite Four (the previous winners of the Pokemon Tournament) who use strategies like hyper offense, stall, etc.
It'd be the biggest Pokemon game of all time with a shitload of things to do, advertised as the last main series Pokemon game. No third versions, no 4th/5th gen remakes, just those two, and then silence...
Then 5 years later, Pokemon comes back and this one takes place in a completely different universe on a completely different planet with the turn based combat being replaced with a mix of ARPG and Real Time Strategy, like how Ni No Kuni is, but actually be good instead.
