>>21866089I didn't care much for BW. I just didn't like the "all new Pokémon and only those" design choice; while most of my team in a new game is made up of new 'mons, I didn't like that I lacked the option to, say, put a favorite of mine on the team with all the new one (my XY team ended up being Greninja/Florges/slug dragon that I think is tripping 4chan's spam filter by naming/Pangoro/Raichu/Flareon for example) and the lack of mixing made the really shitty 'mons like Vanilluxe stand out a lot more.
BW2 let me mix things up a lot more, and ironically I started warming up to a lot of Unova 'mons only after playing the game that didn't force me to use them.
BW has a better plot, I'll agree, but I also like the new towns in BW2, I like seeing what happened to the good NPCs introduced in BW, and I sincerely loved movie making and the PWT while I didn't like musicals at all (I'm still not sure how you're supposed to win a musical other than "hope you dressed right and pray"). BW2 felt a lot more complete because of that added stuff and the mixing between old and new Pokémon, it felt like a better game in every way except plot, and possibly enemy teams but I don't remember having any trouble with BW's battles so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes.
