>>21865785Perhaps not. It certainly seems to lean more towards the outlandish and fantastical. No harm in that, I suppose. As long as it never reaches the "you killed Gary's Raticate, the Stration Gym leaders were really the Shadow Triad" level of headcanon where people feel the need to interject it everywhere as if it was sacrosanct pokemon gospel.
I personally like to tend more to the within bounds of what's been said lore speculation, rather than linking together bits of lore with inferences that can over lap. For instance, the "organization, team, group" stuff tends to end up with their only being one team behind everything in the speculation here, rather than separate ones. One that had Hoopa, one that Archie and Maxie were part of, one that did the shady Sea Mauville stuff, instead of a single team being responsible for all of it.
Of course, as long as it doesn't actually contradict what was said, it's free game. Nothing really contradicts there only being one team. And some connections are better than others. We know Shelly was in Devon at one point, and that she and Archie go way back. So it's not that big a jump there.
>>21865818My interpretation, still incomplete though it is, of all of this information is basically:
>Wattson was working with Devon on Sea Mauville and their Pokemon Energy Project>Found out that it was going to do more harm to Pokemon>Turned traitor and either sabotaged the project or led to Sea Mauville being shut down>Dock was the head of Wattson's work Team>When the project went under, Stern took him and the rest of his workers inThere's a lot more to fit in, such as Maybe Wattson keeping Sea Mauville from being totally destroyed as both a nature preserve and to safe guard the evidence of what went on their. Just in case.
