People will say the postgame is exactly like XY, bu you know what? Move Tutors make grinding at the Maison tolerable. Now I can have a Drain Punch/Zen Headbutt/Knock-Off Gallade and other shit like that.

I haven't even started hunting legendaries yet. I'm hoping they release Battle Frontier DLC on Friday to correspond with the European launch. That'd make these games better than they already are.

It's just stupid, the games have only been out for like three days and people are already saying they're shit. Maison's ok, not good but for what's it worth there's now a reason to grind for BP. Reason I rate them God Tier, is because as follows-
Story and post-game story kept me excited and wanting to see more
Music was fucking amazing
Characters had development
The battle with Wally, his M. Gallade vs. my M. Gardevoir was simply awesome with the music just causing feels beyond reason
Legendary battles with Groudon/Kyogre felt like they really meant something important
Contests have been really fun (I beat every master rank for every style) and I felt like an idol up there with Lisia when I beat her.
Secret bases are still just as fun, if not better than they were back in originals
I could add more shit, but it would start getting lengthy.

they copied 3/4ths of the postgame from xy and the maingame is essentially r/s with more fluff, how do these games compare at all to platinum or bw2 which actually had stuff to do after the story? I'd say the remakes are pretty good but definitely the laziest thing gamefreak has ever done.

i dont remember much about other games but ORAS has you going underwater and then soaring on your latias.
i havent finished the game yet and i forgot alot about R/S but so far all the locations are so varied, you got forests, deserts, volcanos, islands and seas to explore.

It has a lot of great things. It's a lackluster remake, but a great game. Flying from the town map? Genius. Soaring? Awesome.

The DexNav? I consider this the best feature in any Pokemon game EVER. Writing this off as a bonus feature doesn't do it justice. This is a one hundred percent upgrade to one of the core gameplay elements in Pokemon, which is catching them. The DexNav adds so much depth to such a simple process, I absolutely love it. It would be criminal for it not to be in every game after ORAS.

it falls short in content but it adds a couple of new things. Honestly if I compare it to emerald based on when emerald had just come out I consider emerald superior simply because it caught my attention more.

This game isn't bad though, just the worst remake. The gimmicks it adds are fun it just has no content.

R/B/Y has NONE. It's post game is literally catch Mewtwo. That's it.

The ONLY thing R/B/Y has going for it is it's nostalgia factor. Whatever good you may claim was in R/B/Y was done many, MANY times better in FR/LG anyway.
