Just beat Norman and starting to train up my final team.
Of course I haven't experienced what's to come so I can't give you a fair opinion yet.
But, so far just with contests it's a blast.
As for the IGN review, I agree that HMs are very annoying since they
are just disguised wall-offs. "Too much water" is understandable but I personally find that it
makes Hoenn feel much larger since the towns in most
Pokemon games feel tiny.
Most reviewers are put under a lot of pressure to finish the game quickly, so I feel that 7.8 is a low, but acceptable score. I definitely disagree that it would be too high, good is very descriptive of my experience thus far.
