What about ORAS has pleasantly surprised you? For the the redone trick room is fucking awesome. I loved that shit ten years ago, I love it now. I'm only at Mauville, but I like the redesign there too. Feels good to be on my acro bike again

I like just about everything. It did a decent job bringing back the Hoenn feels, the dexnav is fucking amazing and there's many other features that I like.

This is probably my favorite remake considering I never used the BF.

secret bases, more innovative streetpass mechanics, more fleshed out story, better designs, lots of nods to the old games, improved towns and contests, battle maison, safari, all the legendaries, delta episode... shit's fun, man. if you don't like it, that's cool, but i'm not going to be able to convince you otherwise.

They did a fantastic fucking job making it feel exactly like Hoenn should.

I'm not a huge Hoenn fan but I don't dislike it, plus I'm a years long fan. I've never complained of a single game, except now. I feel I'm kinda missing out but on the other hand all that ORAS has to offer and that is of some interest to me is offered by XY already.
