I killed Deoxys and I know it respawns.

If I caught it would the following scenes be any different than had I not killed it?

I got a crit on it which ignored it's boosts fucking it over.

How do you know it respawns? thinking about shiny hunting for one but I don't want to deal with the long cutscenes

Yep. Top of Sky Pillar after Refighting the E4.

And now no one has mentioned it's stats being locked in from Delta Episode, so it should be Soft Resetable there too.

I haven't seen any pictoral confirmation, but people have been saying it reappears in the Cave of Origins after refighting the E4. Maybe do a bit more digging around the net or on Serebii. I don't think he's said anything on it, but I haven't exactly been keeping on Eagle Eye on his coverage.
