Get a power save. It makes everything so much faster. I can throw together just about anymon in five mins compared to the hours of training and breeding. Fuck yeah get a power save.

Gateway is much more expensive, but allows you to do more.
If you just want to hack Pokemon, get a Powersaves. It'll never get patched or anything of the sort.

Gateway doesn't support current 3DS firmware yet though. Sky3DS does though, but that's way too expensive.

Some clones might have support for newer firmwares though. Otherwise you'll need access to the Nand or a 4.5fw 3DS.

This is especially funny considering save file structure is barely changed, and they could pretty much copy/paste their code for x/y cheats to ORAS and have them all functioning in less than a day.
