Not as boring as HGSS. If i have 999:59(and more) in every Pokémon game, 2700 alone on Y, and just 65 in HGSS, something is wrong.

It didn't wear off for me. I loved the transition to 3D models.

Not that into the dressing up. I seriously picked the most low-key clothing I could get. But I'm a bit of a Francophile so that's why I loved X and Y.

Also, the Pokemon in the games were a huge step up from Black and White.

Remakes just don't have the staying power of even the crummy initial releases in each gen. You get super hyped before you start and then get burned out halfway through and just want it to be over. Third versions are the real timesink.

Never played them, I quit after the original ruby/sapphire.

XY brought me back because there was a air of excitement about them; A new type of pokemon, everything was in full 3D for the first time, the ability to trade random pokemon etc..

ORAS doesn't seem to have anything exciting about it, which obviously is reflected in the metascore. Also who gives a fuck about lore in pokemon games lol.
