- The ancient people used another meteor piece to call out for protection, and Rayquaza answered, went primal itself, and saved everyone.
So we know that the meteors are directly correlated to primal reversion. Primal reversion and mega evolution are virtually the exact same fucking thing. Ergo, the meteors caused mega/primal evolution, and all the mega stones laying around in XY and ORAS are pieces of these old meteors.
