Depends how rushed development is next game, I could see getting 20-30 again or I could see them going all out with like 30-50.

I want Mega Swellow, Mega Ridley, Lanturn, Escavalier Lilligant and maybe some trio legendaries. Gen 5 is really under-represented despite its abundance of really interesting Pokemon.
Especially with so many of them suffering from awful, awful movepools, Gen 5 megas would benefit the absolute most from the -ate abilities

Its a genwun pokemon, it getting protean doesnt seem that unlikely, especially because its one of the few pokemon that learn camouflage and reflect type, it fits starmie more than the fucking "forced popularity not-lucario-succesor" frog.

If they add a bunch of Megas in every new release then soon there will be a Mega for every evolutionary chain, do we really need that?

Think about it, they only added about 30-40 new Pokemon lines in XY, and they've already added more Megas than that.

also why highlight it's dragon type and not the ground type? especially when ground it its main type.
oh wait, there was already 4 ground type megas confirmed for ORAS a while now. Adding flygon makes less sense even this way.

I can see it work two ways:
either
>give it a huge buff to SpD so that it can be switched in on Moon Blasts and wall fairies.
or
>give it the secondary typing dark (I think aside from normal and poison, the most moves it learns are dark type, so it is also kinda justified) so that it has no weaknesses and do whatever with the stats, put them all in Def for all I care

The second movie sucked. But I am probably just saying that because the only Pokemovie I watched as a child was Mewtwo vs Mew, of which I even had the novel version. I read that quite often as a kid and have fond memories of it, though I realize that I would probably hate it, cringe at it and laugh about it if I watched it today.

Why are none of these things yet? We get the obvious genwunner pandering by giving pissdrill a mega and they waste a slot on a pink exp bag but we can't get the last 2 gen 1 trade evos as megas?

Then again we are talking about a company that wont release the hidden abilities after all this time, how competent do you have to be to not add a friend safari in ORAS to get the hidden abilities of gen 2 and 5 starters?
