Base 130's what's considered "normal" for something decently offensive and if we learned anything from Gen 4's start of minmaxing with Infernape with zero defenses, max offenses and speed, and all of those tactics designed to give it even less defenses in spamming flare blitz and close combat, you don't care if you kill yourself slowly if you're killing your opponent this quickly.
>>21885602Those other stats don't matter if your opponent dies before you do. Some megas don't even get the boost in speed or defenses. For some, the defense boosts are something like +10 which could've been used in the speed or offense.
I'm saying that as if attack is the only stat because my argument only dealt with him trying to deny the claim of 145 base attack not being that bad even though you're giving up your mega slot and item slot for it.
