>>21886454I wanted to put in "I'M REALLY FEELING IT" myself, but alas.I had several, but I keep forgetting to write them down, so I keep just forgetting them. Here are the few I can recall:
Tying the stopping of Primal Groudon/Kyogre, and the releasing of their built-up energy throughout Hoenn, into adding National Dex mons onto almost all the routes was a very well done. Especially by dropping hints about it with Birch's research on the ancient ecosystem of Hoenn, and how much more varied it was, before then.
People have mentioned the music before, and some have disparaged it, but I really liked most of the ORAS tracks. It's hard for me to remember the last time any Pokemon track stuck with me, and yet ORAS has many. The way Wally's battle track starts before the actual fight, during his psyching himself up dialog, and then just continues straight into the fight is nice.
The way all the outdoor NPCS in Lilycove, Mossdeep, and Sootopolis have things to say about the weather catastrophe is a thoughtful, and logical, implementation, especially compared to how XY handled it. All of them have new lines, and at least Sootopolis has them thanking you for SAVING THE WORLD, whereas pretty much no one had anything to say in XY when Lysandre announced he was about to use his Genocide Cannon. Especially Lilycove, a place you're unlikely to go back to if you're keeping to a strict, plot point to plot point playthrough. Even Mossdeep would likely be passed by if you just head straight for Sootopolis after the legendary awakens. Of course, this was all in RS, at least from what my hazy memory recalls. Still cool to see it there again.
The BuzzNav is an immersive touch, letting you see how the wider world is reacting to your journey and the plot, without having to overburden the dialog and characters with it. I should really get online though. Tired of seeing them talk about how many Dowsing Items I've found.
