It's much more descriptive calling it a Deoxys-A with double the defenses of Deoxys-S and only two speed tiers or so down.
Saying it's something like three times as good as Deoxys is much better than just naming a bunch of Pokemon who are barely relevant anymore.
The original version of the pasta was much better since Mega Salamence literally did have the stats of several well-known and incredibly common Uber Pokemon. You really feel something from mentioning "Lugia's defense with Shaymin-S's special attack" on a fucking Salamence when you're giving me Infernape and Starmie's stats on a fucking Rayquaza
