Is that it? Just a battle maison? No battle facilities, or even a friend safari?

The post-game after catching the legends and delta episode is literally just the battle maison.

How is this better than XY's postgame, which was nonexistent to begin with?

The Day care is on a looping ring-style area (lumiose, battle subway, etc.) in the same area as IV checker so bike simulator is nicer. Battle resort is WAYYYYYY better than kiloude city, also, while not post-game exlusive, soaring, contests, and secret bases mean there is a lot of stuff to do.

Alright. Sounds decent. I was just disappointed to get here (and hear the Battle Frontier theme) and see that the only facility is a battle maison, which I didn't care much for in the first place. Huge step down from the battle frontier.

Delta Episode is just Looker Quest 2 (and I hated Looker Quest)
Legendaries are something but it's not anything exclusive, anybody who played through the earlier games already has them, or at least anyone who posts on /vp/ should or else MODS.

Secret Bases I consider to be main game, mirage spots were shit in Gen III and I don't imagine they're any better here, and New Mauville sounds like a reskinned Lumiose complete with cafes.

None of it compares to the Frontier.

Every generation has got a copy and paste of that generations Battle post game. People just don't realize this because Crystal had a similar Battle Tower as the one in Platinum.

Literally every gen they have just cut and paste the battle post game. FR/LG Cut and paste battle tower. HG/SS Cut and paste Battle frontier. OR/AS cut and paste Battle Maison.

And besides it's not like looking any different makes it better.

ORAS has just as much a point to exist as HG/SS. And At least this gives you new Megas for the Maison. If you already had platinum you got nothing new to use in the Battle Tower. Which was literally exactly the same as the one in Platinum. Why not just use Platinums?

Hearing constantly about the lack of Battle Frontier is annoying, but honestly at this point I'm more annoyed by people who can't admit that it was silly to omit it (That's if it is actually omitted).

It's as though people on this board are completely incapable of seeing things without some kind of knee-jerk bias. I'm a huge GameFreak fanboy who's least favorite game was R/S, who never gave a shit about the battle frontier in the first place and who is going to the midnight launch of OR/AS here in the EU regardless and even I think it was silly that it wasn't included out of the box.

It's just not better -enough- for me to buy it. It has a better main game (that I can already play in RSE) but the same lack of postgame.

It's a neat little thing but it doesn't even begin to make up for the lack of Frontier.

You could give me every villain, rival, and Champion from all games and it wouldn't improve the lack of any postgame facilities other than the Maison. We don't even have battle tents.
