The rivals are all retarded, with even the goddamn pokedex guy failing to beat you, which is impressive when you're doing a nuzlocke run. Also, ONE MOVE POKEMON IS NOT OKAY FOR RIVALS. It's not even like they have the decency to use Unown.
The series also has two box legendaries, but lacks the symbiosis of DP and GS, or the rivalry in RS and BW. Yeah, we have one region legend in this universe. What's that, a wyvern? Go away small child, all I know is the magic fairy deer.
