when you head to your secret base you get the option to scan in codes. the camera starts up and they give you a guide to scan them. once they are accepted they tell you the general area where to find them
the rest is up to you

Go to your Secret Base's computer and select Manage QR Codes.

From there you can choose to scan them.

Do you have to have the patch installed and/or have been to Mossdeep? Still not there yet. Also still not sure where the fuck to find the patch...God I'm hopeless.
