Just go ahead and imagine an ORAS OU tier that simultaneously had Mega Mom, Mawile, Luke, Gengar, Salamence, AND all the really powerful but not broken pokemon in it at the same time. Most of these mega pokemon require dedicated checks, so unless you go full-retard HO that doesn't care about defensive synergy you are dedicating a minimum of half your team to take on a small handful of mega broken stuff. You want more variety in 6v6 singles? Then fucking ban the bullshit OP stuff.
