>>21918715>What's wrong with the shinies?This generation really depreciated their value. Every time I battle randoms on WiFi they have a shiny or two 90% of the time. They are supposed to be rare, it's just kind of immersion breaking when everyone has one, or in this case, two, especially one being a legendary.
Legendaries themselves are immersion breaking regardless. I'm not saying all legendaries are Mewtwo grade weaponry, because that just plain isn't true, most are outclassed by regular pokemon for that matter. But the idea that a regular trainer would even ever SEE one, let alone capture it? Is kinda lame.
And before you say anything about immersion being irrelevant, that's kinda the point of a trainer card thread.
