Unpopular opinion, maybe?

So I got Alpha Sapphire day one and I had the original Sapphire on GameBoy SP as well, so I was going into ORAs with a lot of hype.
Is it just me or, did things seem "handed" to you nearing the end of the game? I mean shit, you got Deoxys which is an in-game accessible Pokemon now apparently and you just have all these legendaries popping up around the map as well. I didn't feel a "Catch 'Em All" aspect in the game which is what the franchise revolves around.

Also the Rayquaza sequence made my balls as hot as the Sahara Desert.
