>>21921597I know it might not seem like much, but with BW2, raising and lowering the levels of the enemy took effort.
Stages of planning, discussion and development, along with deciding how to do it and finally implementing a simple "up scale about 5 levels" or "downscale about 5 levels" on average after having tested it.. Still effort to a degree that they then looked at and decided to completely fucking ignore it behind an aimlessly obscure method of obtaining that is absolutely negated by the natural flow of the game.
Like shit, I know some games have a harder difficulty unlocked after completing the game, but Pokemon is meant to be played continuously ala expansion packs and not restarted, so having a difficulty unlock is just fucking pointless 99% of the time. To make matters worse, the difficulties are spread among two systems. What kind of version exclusive is THAT?
Why would you throw away all of the effort of collecting and training to restart the game, much less to make the game EASIER on a second run? And why split it? Like.. what the fuck??
