>>21925040I was looking for someone to explain to me what there is to "explore". These maps are smaller than ones you see from the majority of 16-bit era RPGs and probably some 8-bit ones too.
Nice random assumption I didn't explore. I'm saying you can finish completely exploring any given route in a Pokemon game in, like, 5-10 minutes tops unless you're just farting around doing nothing for extended periods of time.
>>21925125Okay, fair enough, you can stay in one place and grind the same minigames or trainers for hours if you really felt like it. If not wanting to do that means I have a short attention span or something, then so be it.
Nostalgia'ing about areas I've visited before is cool and all, I just don't see how it can eat up 30 hours by the time you're at the fifth badge unless you were really into the RP aspect and stopped to blog, or write a story about it or something.
I sure would love to be as easily amused as you, and I mean that in a nicest way possible. I mean, if you take that kind of attitude towards exhausting every last possibility in a game as shallow as Pokemon, I can only imagine you can sink days into a single area in an MMO or something.
