>>21926720How do I pick names... Well, first of all, with a lot of patience, sometimes it takes me hours to come with a name that I may not even like later.
It's really hard to come with a name that can stay for a very long time, even forever. You can pick a simple concept to begin, for example my Scizor is called Magnum because I like the idea that its Bullet Punch has the power of a magnum gunshot.
Others come from games and references. My Gardevoir's name is Misery, which is based in Misery from Cave Story. You could also use its type to come with a related name, for example my Lilligant's name is Hawthorne (which is also based in Dahlia Hawthorne from Phoenix Wright), which could actually work better for a Roserade but I decided to give her the name of Franziska, same, reference to Phoenix Wright but wanted also to give her a proper female name. Funnier one is pic related, I called my Milotic Ciel not based in the girl from Mega Man Zero, but on a bottle water brand.
It's very hard to come up with names but you'll know when one is perfect for your Pokemon.
